Payment Terms of Service

These Payment Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of our vacation property reservation system (“Beachside Platform”) and apply to all guests (“You” or “Guest”) making reservations through the Beachside Platform. By booking a property, you agree to these Terms.

1. Reservation Deposits

• A deposit of 20% of the total reservation amount is required at the time of booking. 

• Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit has been successfully processed. 

• Deposits are non-refundable except as otherwise provided in our Cancellation Policy.

2. Payment of Balance

• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. 

• If a reservation is made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

2.1 Payment of Balance - Tivoli by the Sea Units

• The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. 

• If a reservation is made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Payment Authorization. 

You allow Beachside Payments to charge your Payment Method (including charging more than one Payment Method), either directly or indirectly, for all fees due (including any applicable taxes) in connection with your Beachside account, including Damage Report amounts in accordance with Beachside Terms of Service. When you pay using your bank account, you authorize Beachside Payments to debit your bank account according to the payment schedule shown at checkout. You also authorize Beachside Payments to further debit or credit your bank account to correct any erroneous debit, make necessary adjustments to your payment, or to issue a refund back to your bank account.

4. Accepted Payment Methods

• Payments may be made by:
• Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
• Debit cards
• All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

5. Security Deposits

• Some properties may require a refundable security deposit to cover damages, excessive cleaning, or violations of rental policies. 

• Security deposits will be held as a temporary authorization hold on your payment method and will be released within 7 business days after check-out, provided no deductions are required.

6. Rebooking and Cancellation Fees

• Rebooking and cancellation are subject to our Rebooking Policy and Cancellation Policy, which may include fees or forfeiture of payments. 

• Any applicable rebooking or cancellation charges will be deducted from amounts paid before any refund is processed.

7. Taxes and Fees

• Guests are responsible for all applicable taxes, service fees, and cleaning fees as disclosed at the time of booking. 

• Taxes and cleaning fees are non-refundable.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

• By booking through the Beachside Platform, you agree not to initiate a chargeback with your credit card provider without first contacting us to resolve any issue. 

• Unauthorized chargebacks may result in cancellation of your reservation and denial of future bookings.

9. Failure to Appear

• Guests who fail to check in (“No Shows”) without prior cancellation will be charged the full reservation amount and are not entitled to a refund or credit.

10. Amendments

• We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply to reservations made after the effective date of the change.

11. Governing Law 

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the property is located and subject to all terms and conditions set forth in Beachside Terms of Service.
